Minimum RequirementsThe Cotton Certification Scheme requires the following minimum cotton content:
Pure Cotton Mark:95%85% for socks Cotton Blend Mark:33%
Who May Apply?Any South African textile manufacturer, clothing manufacturer, retailer or personal and homecare product manufacturer may apply to become an authorised user of the Cotton Marks.
Which Items May Bear the Cotton Mark?Any cotton product, personal or homecare product that conforms to the laid down quality/content requirements.
How to Apply for the Mark?The fully completed Application Form together with a once off registration fee of R 1000-00 (VAT excluded) must be forwarded to Cotton SA. |
